This week, we got a new single release from Blair St. Clair from her previously released debut album “Call My Life“. The song, “Irresistible”, is a fan favourite and we all were delighted to see it get an official release and an accompanying music video too. This is the third single from the album, following “Now Or Never” as well as the remix album of “Call My Life”.
Blair St. Clair is a drag queen who is best known for coming ninth on the 10th season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Since leaving, she’s been focusing on her music career, bringing out high-quality music videos and incredible tracks. Her debut album, “Call My Life” received critical acclaim and peaked at number one on the US Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart. Now, with the release of this brand new single, Blair St. Clair – who’s real name is Andrew Bryson – is establishing herself as an artist in the music industry; we can’t wait to see where her career takes her as today’s current market is missing a popstar drag queen.

It’s no surprise this song is a fan-favourite, as it is certainly catchy – but, then again, anyone who has listened to the album in full will know that all the tracks are addicting and incredible. Blair St. Clair’s voice is superb on all her album tracks, but this one shows off her vocal ability with a heightened passion and teasing story-telling. It’s got a great rhythm and certainly deserves to be picked up by DJs for remixes. The lyrics paint a story of being “Irresistible” and someone being addicted to Blair St. Clair – we don’t blame them.
The music video paints a different story, as we watch Blair St. Clair walk into an audition, where she is judged on her dance ability alongside other dancers. She’s called out by the judging panel and is then criticised heavily, being told that they don’t get sexy from her. This jumps to a street segment where Blair St. Clair is looking like the definition of sexy, as she nails dance choreography. This is followed by various other sexy scenes from clips in a shower to pole dancing, where she’s wearing different wigs and different clothes but still looking super fine. During the final scene, we realise it’s all a fantasy, and she’s still in the audition room, enacting cat-like moves that are beyond embarrassing, before being escorted out of the audition room.
